Riebl Tedesco McGill

For fans of The Cat Empire and lovers of genre‑blending live music, this Canadian debut offers a rare and intimate experience. Riebl Tedesco McGill brings together three members of The Cat Empire — Felix Riebl, Richard Tedesco, and Ollie McGill — for a one‑of‑a‑kind collaborative performance. Blending songwriting, virtuoso musicianship, and deep musical storytelling, the trio moves fluidly between intricate flamenco guitar, expansive piano textures, and soulful vocals. Drawing on decades of experience across jazz, flamenco, pop, and contemporary music, they present a carefully curated set of original works, solo material, and select reinterpretations, including moments inspired by The Cat Empire catalogue. Designed for intimate venues, this special performance highlights nuance, spontaneity, and the chemistry of three master musicians in close musical conversation.

Opening act - Sara et Rebecca

Sara et Rebecca is an instrumental female duo blending a wide range of influences, from Latin rhythms (rumba flamenca, cumbia, bossa nova) to psychedelic rock and funk‑jazz. After more than a decade performing in sync on the streets of Quebec City, the two guitarists released their debut EP, Dédicace Féline, in 2024. Don’t be fooled by their angelic look: whether as a duo or with additional musicians, Sara et Rebecca bring intensity, driven by expressive guitars, bold solos, and creative use of effects pedals.
