La Brigade

If you see something at FEQ, say something!

Our psychosocial workers will be available throughout the FEQ festival, from July 3 to 13.

They are identified with royal blue vests.

To contact them, call or text at 418-399-9482.

In case of emergency, immediately notify security or call 911.

Our services :

  • Assistance in situations of psychological distress, anxiety, or mental health issues
  • Overdose prevention
  • Prevention of sexually transmitted and bloodborne infections (STIs), situations of sexual exploitation or rape, emergency contraception, etc.

Our partners :

  • Lueur – Festivals & Events helps both field and management teams stay focused on the festivities while equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to respond to instances of sexual exploitation—without disrupting a well-oiled organization.
  • SABSA: They are located at the entrance of Porte St-Louis, near the main entrance, inside a mobile unit.
  • The organization has a dual mission: to reduce overdoses and to prevent the transmission of certain infections, such as hepatitis C and HIV.
  • Naloxone kits, an antidote used to counter the effects of opioids, are also distributed there.
  • Drug checking service: A consumer, whether a regular user or trying it for the first time, will thus be able to have their drug tested before using it. Anyone, without discrimination, will be welcome wherever the service is available. Under an exemption granted by Health Canada, the SABSA team will be authorized to handle the substances brought to them. Three technologies will be used in the mobile lab: mass spectrometry, colorimetry, and test strips for detecting certain opioids such as fentanyl.

  • The objectives are clear: to make informed decisions and reduce the harmful effects of psychoactive substance use, including overdoses.
