To celebrate the deluxe release of his latest album It’s Lovely To Have You Here, Kim Churchill is hitting the road across Canada to play in some of his favorite corners of the country. A staple of the Australian and international folk/blues scene, he continues to captivate audiences around the world with his laid-back acoustic sound.

Originally from the coastal town of Merimbula, Australia, Kim brings over a decade of experience in the music industry. He was named Australia’s National Young Folk Artist of the Year and nominated for Roots Act of the Year at the National Live Music Awards. Traveling the world in his trusty van(s), Kim delivers energetic and heartfelt performances filled with deep, thoughtful songs. Performing as a one-man band, he electrifies crowds with engaging storytelling, soaring guitar work, and harmonica-fueled grooves.

Opening act - Mia Kelly

Mia Kelly, emerging folk artist from Gatineau, blends French and English songwriting with a distinctive mix of folk, rock, and blues. Her intimate and semi-fictional storytelling showcases raw emotion and crafted lyricism. Winner of the 2024 Canadian Folk Music Awards for Young Performer and New/Emerging Artist, she is rapidly gaining recognition. At 21, she has performed at major festivals in Canada and abroad and will release her album To Be Clear on October 4, 2024.
